Climbing Ladders and Self-Confidence



You can tell your children all day long how pretty they are or how smart they are or how strong or how brave, but those things alone don't build their self-esteem. The successful completion of a difficult task is what creates a better self-concept. Notice the glee Mim shows when the job is done.
That's how I feel when I finish a day of hard work.

Yep, I feel the same way.
Lately I've been so distracted that just finishing a task deserves a squeal.
