Behind the clouds there's a light, I know
Gilding the ground with its dazzling glow
But here in the dark, the driving's slow

Like an alien planet floating by
Ignoring gravity, rising high....
Bobs a striped sun in a hazy sky

And the mist that hushes the hopeful land

Hangs heavy enough to hold in my hand
