When I visited Edison at Easter, they had just set up a new swings and slide set in his other grandmother's back yard. Several of the children were taking advantage of it. Later, when I got home and looked at the pictures, I saw this one and made the comment that the slide seemed a bit tame...maybe time for a baby brother or sister. Still, he seems to like it.

The incident did make me a bit hesitant to show his parents the pictures I took the last time he was here. We went to the new "kid proof" park and then to a hidden park behind the half-pipe area over by the old girl scout hut where the city transferred all the old playground equipment so they could build the new stuff. It's still over there, and kids still love it, but by today's standards it's highly risky.
