Shine

In a sere land, drained by drought--wilted, withered, parched and faint with morning after morning of dazzling sun...

...nothing shines quite so beautifully

as a dark, dreary, drippy, drizzly day.

Finally. It's raining!

what a blessing! Rain is needed so badly this year in so many places! I hate watching the news about the wildfires - people losing so much in such hard times. I am so glad you are getting rain!

Rain can be magical, especially if you have been needing, and waiting for it.

Loved our damp Easter miracle.

Everyone loves the sun but what better that to walk in the rain. To see the earth lap up the moisture to revitalise the earth and stir new life into being. Everything in it's season but hopefully not to much!

Great post Lilibeth.

As an Aussie, I sure know what you mean. We live on the driest landmass on the planet.

Parched and faint make me feel dehydrated. Thank God it poured. I can see the glint of sun shining in a raindrop :)

I forget that rain deserves praise. I get bogged down, depressed by it. Yet, when it's the middle of summer and the heat comes in unrelenting waves, I miss that rain I cursed in spring. Isn't it always the way?

The best part of a soaking rain in spring is that the worms come out to play! Sure, they smell a bit ripe, but they are such industrious, peaceful little critters. I loved this, Lilibeth, and thanks!
