We took a group of twelve children to fish last night at a farmer's pond nearby; most of them caught a fish. I only caught a nibble with the fishing rod and reel but I caught a lot of pictures with my trusty little camera.
The sun went down slowly.
The wind kept the gnats away.
Delighted children squealed.
Nobody got hurt, or mad, or lost, or exposed to poison ivy. Nobody got sick on the hot dogs.
Thank goodness it was an uneventful evening!

Life's Events
Your uneventful event was certainly one to remember. Hopefully it will be talked about for years to come.
That looks like so much fun--wonderful photos!

Sometimes the best events are...uneventful.
It's been many years since I've been fishing. Enjoyed it in my youth.
*grin*, sometimes uneventful is the best -- and it looks like much fun was had by all. Adorable pics!
Delightful event!
Oh man - that is the whole point of fishing to me - I don't even care if I catch one. It's a great excuse to sit by the water and do nothing at all. What a cool thing - I know they enjoyed it :)
Beautiful day had by all. :)
