Small towns need special days, days in which those who live here can work together and laugh together and just hang out in the square. Our day is called The Pumpkin Festival. Every year we gather the largest pumpkins we can find, invite merchants and fund-raisers of all types, rent a couple of games for the children, and hope the rest of the community will spend a Saturday here instead of tearing off to shop at the big stores in the city.
