So, Do you Think I should Lose a Few Pounds?

On dieting advice, you will find
That your sweet friends will say: Nevermind,
My dear, you're a star
Just the way that you are!
Better find one who's brutally kind.

Sweet, Syrupy, Sweet
Delectable, Sugary,
Sweet, Sweet, Sweet Poison*

*As you might have deduced, I'm still on my diet. Sigh!

  1. A diet need not be all that bad; you could try very, very hard, and restrict yourself to ONE 200gram chocolate bar a day!!! It works for me - not from the weight point of view of course.

  2. A sweet touch of humor will keep me motivated too! Visiting friends lead to far much too temptation. I like your "sweet poison" so close to that picture! And that's not taking into account all the other places sugar appears without us even knowing! Perseverance furthers . . .

  3. Dark chocolate is good for you - full of iron and speeds up metabolism - if it was good enough for the inca's! Why are all the yummy things bad things..Jae :)

  6. A couple of dieting quotes I like:

    It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle.

If you put it in your mouth and it tastes good, hurry... spit it out.

*Keep up the good work... you look great by the way :)

  7. Thanks Roshelle, for being one of the non-sweet friends. You encourage me so much and the Lord knows I really needed a kind word today.

A chocolate alternative is carob, so so good for you. I think it's yummy, too!
