beholding the glorious playground
with a vision for great adventure,
but here is work to be done
before he can run along
to the castle!
the bridges!
the scaling walls!
"I have to finish
this digging job,"
he tells me
with solemn eyes.
The golden sawdust
has become wheat
to harvest.
So he works.
That too is vision.
